An Evening with the Fabulous Females of Jazz Join award-winning American jazz vocalist Kristine Mills and the Scott Flanigan Jazz Trio, featuring some of Belfast’s finest jazz musicians, for an evening celebrating the unforgettable women who helped define the sound of jazz. From the sophisticated swing of Ella Fitzgerald to the cool wit of Peggy Lee, the intimate charm of Blossom Dearie, and many more, Kristine and the trio will bring their own style to timeless standards from the Great American Songbook. Join us at the Northern Ireland War Memorial between 7pm-10pm for a night of nostalgia, as American Singer, Kristine Mills, along with a live band perform music from the 1920s right through to the 1950s, with a particular focus on wartime music from the 1940s. The event will take place from 7pm-10pm on the ground floor of the museum which is fully accessible. Performances will take place hourly, with 40 minute singing performances at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. Visitors are encouraged to drop in through the evening. The event is family friendly, with dancing and vintage dress encouraged!
