Kristine's career as a songwriter produced four LP's and one EP of her original compositions: Looking Back. Moving Forward., BOSSAtoo, asYETuntitled the Houston Arts Alliance Individual Artist Grant Funded project, Collector’s Waltz Soundtrack for the Gold REMI award-winning film which she also produced, plus bossanovafied, her first release of all original tunes arranged in the classic style of bossa nova. 

Each CD received Grammy recognition by shortlisting in several categories, plus received international and national radio play, along with broadcasts on the onboard music programs of most major worldwide airlines including British Airways and United.

Looking Back. Moving Forward. ::  This album project, a key moment in my three-decade-long career, received critical acclaim and media support with the summer premiere of the single “Hold Fast” with Houston CityBook  (see here for the premiere) and a sold-out show at Warehouse 72, followed by two fall EP release concerts, in Austin, Texas at Parker Jazz Club with the critically-acclaimed house band, led by Kris Kimura, and back to Houston at Warehouse 72 with a band led by Chad Wesselkamper. 

BOSSAtoo :: Kristine's sixth CD all original songs by Kristine, plus Klaus Mueller's arrangements of two classic Jobim tunes and one by Sting. Shortlisted for nomination consideration in two categories. BOSSAtoo placed #2 on the CMJ Jazz TOP 5 Add Chart, debuted at #35, then peaked at #26 on the CMJ Jazz Charts. BOSSAtoo is enjoying extensive national and international radio play 

asYETuntitled ::  Kristine released her fifth CD funded in part by the 2012 Houston Arts Alliance Grant for Established, Individual Artist in MUSIC. She celebrated with performances in both Houston and New York Spring 2013. On the short list for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards Nomination consideration in **Best Pop with Vocals Album** 

Soundtrack for Collector's Waltz :: Nine original songs recorded for the Gold REMI Award-winning documentary were composed and produced by Mills. These feature performances by Duke Ellington Orchestra Tommy "TJ" James, pianist and conductor, and Shelley Carrol, saxophone, along with a who's who of Houston-based classical and jazz musicians. Houston and New York City performances supported the October 2012 release. 

Patch of Green (single) ::  June 2012, Kristine performed her Concerts for City Greens Songwriting Contest semi-finalist song both at the Tudor City Concert for City Green Summer Series and in concert on the Metropolitan Room stage. Supported by a high-flying coterie of New York-based musicians Kristine performed an all-original set of her new songs. 

bossanovafied :: Kristine's third album received international acclaim and airplay since it debuted at #46 on Jazz Week World Music Album Chart, February 2010. The sultry, hot, bossa nova collection of all original songs was recorded in Rio de Janeiro and short-listed for a Grammy nomination in the Best Jazz Album with Vocals category. Cuts from the CD played on the in-flight radio of several international and domestic carriers.
