Kristine Mills is the WINNER of the 2010 Houston Press Music Awards "Best Songwriter"
Last year Kristine took home the win for the 2009 Houston Press Music Awards “Best Female Vocalist!” This "bold, blonde entertainer outta the old school" and native Houstonian was also nominated two years in a row for the prestigious “Musician of the Year” and three consecutive years in the “Best Jazz” category. Houston Modern Luxury Magazine named Kristine “Hottest Female Jazz Vocalist” on The 2007 Lust List.
Kristine's album of all her original music recorded in Brazil, bossanovafied, made the short list for the 52nd Grammy nomination consideration in the "best jazz album with vocals" category. bossanovafied DEBUTED at #46 on the World Music Album Chart as reported by JazzWeek magazine February 22, 2010.
